Itinerary 

Day 1: Entebbe to Lake Mburo (230 km)
Your adventure begins as you depart from Entebbe, driving through verdant hills and bustling villages. A stop at the equator offers a chance to test the famed water-draining experiment. Arriving at Lake Mburo National Park, you'll set up camp surrounded by plains game and serene lakes. The evening brings stories by the fire under a canopy of stars.

Day 2-4: Into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (250 km)
A game drive through Lake Mburo reveals zebras, hippos, and the iconic Ankole cattle. Then, it's on to the dense Bwindi Forest, where you’ll camp on the edge of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over two days, trek through misty jungles in search of mountain gorillas. Standing just meters away from these gentle giants is an experience that words cannot capture. For non-trekking days, visit local villages or enjoy birdwatching walks.

Day 5-6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Ishasha (150 km)
The forest gives way to the open grasslands of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, this area also boasts abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes. Spend your days on thrilling game drives, scanning the tall fig trees for elusive lions and marveling at the vast hippo population.

Day 7: Rwenzori Mountains and Tea Plantations (120 km)
Journey through the park to the Maramagambo Forest and the Kazinga Channel before exiting near the towering Rwenzori Mountains. Known as the "Mountains of the Moon," these peaks rise dramatically above tropical forests and tea plantations. End the day camping amidst the lush greenery.

Day 8: Long Road to Masindi (300 km)
A scenic but challenging drive takes you through Fort Portal and Hoima to Masindi. Along the way, vibrant landscapes of tea plantations and local villages keep you captivated. Tonight, enjoy a comfortable stay at a local hotel.

Day 9-10: Murchison Falls National Park and the Victoria Nile (50 km/day)
Dive into the wonders of Murchison Falls National Park. Trek through forests to find chimpanzees, enjoy game drives on open savannah, and marvel at the thunderous Murchison Falls. A boat cruise on the Nile offers an up-close view of crocodiles, hippos, and rare bird species.

Day 11-12: Adventure at Kalagala Falls (430 km)
Travel to Jinja, East Africa’s adventure capital. With a full day at Kalagala Falls, you can try white-water rafting, bungee jumping, or horseback riding. Prefer something more serene? Take a boat cruise or visit local community projects. The options are endless.

Day 13: Farewell to Uganda (116 km)
The final leg takes you back to Entebbe. Along the way, reflect on the incredible experiences of the past two weeks. Your journey ends with a drop-off at the airport or your hotel, leaving you with memories of Uganda’s wild beauty.
