Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek
Your Namibian adventure begins in the capital city, Windhoek, at 14:00. After a short briefing and introductions, enjoy a guided exploration of this bustling yet charming city, where modernity meets tradition. Highlights include visits to its historical sites and vibrant neighborhoods. In the evening, savor local flavors at the renowned Joe’s Beerhouse (dinner at your own expense) before resting in the comfort of a local hotel.

Day 2-3: Namib Dessert
Leaving the city behind, we journey south into the heart of the Namib Desert, known for its towering red dunes and endless horizons. Upon arrival at our remote desert camp, enjoy a guided walk to discover the fascinating desert flora and fauna. On Day 3, delve deeper into the reserve with ecology walks and desert drives. End the day with sundowners as the sun sets over this awe-inspiring landscape, followed by a night drive to spot nocturnal desert wildlife.

Day 4: Sossusvlei

Today, explore one of Namibia’s most iconic landscapes. Start early to experience the magic of the Sossusvlei and Deadvlei dunes as the morning light transforms the sands into a kaleidoscope of colors. A 4x4 excursion takes you into these otherworldly clay pans surrounded by giant dunes, some of the highest in the world. Afterward, visit the nearby Sesriem Canyon before settling into your campsite for the night.

Day 5-6: Swakupmund
Cross the Namib-Naukluft National Park en route to the coastal towns of Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. Known for its German colonial influence, Swakopmund offers a vibrant mix of culture and adventure. Spend two days exploring the town and its surroundings, with opportunities for thrilling optional activities such as quad biking, dune boarding, or skydiving. Evenings are free for dining at local restaurants (own expense).

Day 7: Skeleton Coast to Spitzkoppe

Journey along the rugged Skeleton Coast, known for its haunting beauty and shipwreck-strewn shores. Visit Cape Cross, home to a vast colony of Cape fur seals, before heading inland to the dramatic Spitzkoppe mountains. Set up camp beneath these ancient granite peaks and explore the surreal landscapes in the afternoon.

Day 8: Brandberg
After a morning hike at Spitzkoppe, continue to Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain. En route, visit the Himba community (availability dependent) for a glimpse into their traditional way of life. Upon arrival, hike to the White Lady rock paintings, ancient artworks shrouded in mystery. For those interested, an optional desert elephant tracking excursion is available.

Day 9-10: Etosha National Park
Spend two days immersed in one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Extensive game drives bring you up close to elephants, lions, and other iconic species as you explore Etosha’s unique salt pans and waterholes. One evening, visit the Okaukuejo waterhole to watch wildlife gather under the stars.
