TRAKA Gravel week- Girona

In 2025 we will organize our first TMJ Adventures gravel trip! This one will be all about the TRAKA Challenge in Girona. In the week prior to the race you will get to know all the inss & outs of gravel racing from experienced cycling coaches, mechanics and locals and at the end of the week you will take on the challenge yourself!

Program:

 A gravel week dedicated to The Traka Girona competition. A now world famous race in which many pros compete. In the front there is racing and in the back it is seen as a fun adventure. Fun for every level! 

Before the race a week of enjoyable gravel cycling in Girona. Our gravel coach Menno Driesse will give the many tips this week and local guide Annemiek will lead the group over the most beautiful gravel paths of Girona where every day we enter a totally different landscape. Every day beautiful surprises and special lunch spots. Also in the evening we give tips for dinner in Girona.
During the week we also give attention to technique on the gravel bike and tips for the The Traka, including an information evening in the garden of Campo Bicicleta including a barbecue. Gravel races are self-supporting. so we also prepare you as good as possible for equipment breakdowns and other setbacks.
You can also rent a gravel bike. We have nice Bianchi Impulso gravel bikes - please indicate this in the booking form!
Traka Girona had its first edition in 2019 and was a great success. The organizer Klassmark crammed all the most beautiful gravel trails of the Girona region into one route. This event attracts participants from all over Europe to battle it out on the challenging terrain in the Girona region. Well-known Dutch garvelriders are also at the start here.

You can choose between two distances: the 200 km on Saturday or the 100 km on Sunday.
We will explore parts of the course a little bit the week before and give tips for riding this Gran Fondo.

Who can join?: This trip is for both the avid and recreational rider. Whether you go for results or for the challenge of a gravel event, you are welcome to join! However, we do ask for a good basic condition: At least between 75 to 95 kilometers per day.

Location: Girona, Spain

Flights: From Amsterdam there is a direct connection to Girona which takes around 1.5 hours. We are more than happy to assist you with getting the right flights.

Booking: Through the registration form you fill in your details. Upon receipt, we will verify it and confirm it through a booking confirmation.
Payment: After confirming the booking, you will receive an invoice from us. Payments are made through STO Garant.
